I'm with aletoledo on this one...I dont really care for the capability, but if you know it exists, its quite defendable. As I said above, its overall effect on the game isnt that much if all players are experienced.

I can play with the rules as they are but still believe that they could be improved. Why would it be though tedious or add to micromanagement if a transport uses up the movements point of a transportchain if it moves from the end to the Beginning of the chain? I think it would be logical and elegant because it would be as if all the transport made one step with only one click by the player.

Besides why is a transport frozen "spends" its movement points when its transport capacity is used? Ships can fire and afterwards move though whats up with the transport?

I liek to play strategy game and usally I am quite good. I can play with the rules given in the game but if I want an unrelasit c fantastic game I would play Age of Wonders , Alpha Centauri etc. If I want to replay reality and tweak the out come of the 2nd. world war then I want the game easy accesible and realistic in its concepts. This doesn´t mean that it must be supercomplex monstergame but it would be nice that the simplified game concepts reflect what has been possible and what would have been impossible. I like it when I aa standing before the same strategic decisons as the commanders in 2nd. World war and can understand why they decided one way or another.

The gamerules could made it id possible to paradrop in Washington in round one. Isnt this a bug then? Even if you could place flak before in Wahsington?

Wouldn´t be much more unrealistic then a italian invasion in turn one. Yes I know I can defend aginst it. But the actual rules does permit you military operations which hadn´t been possible in 2nd world war. Though I think these rules should be adapted. Things like this have nothing to do with strategic planning but only exploit game concept flaws. Surprise invsion in Spain? I think limiting the movements of the transports and my suggestion is only s small twek for gods sake would lead to an even better and more realistic game.

P.S: If I wouldn´t htink tha WAW is a good game with a lot potential I wouldn´t bother to write comments and suggestions.
