You probably plan to feed your troops with cheeseburgers and soda after the landing...

This is going to be very difficult partly because I am guessing the allies wont have sent all non west coast units to the frontline ASAP after PH attack
So the US will have more forces in SF than a normal PBEM would have at this stage air ground and sea.
I think its probably impossible with only 300k men for that reason alone.
Be interesting to find out though![]()
Hey, he proposed it....in fact when he proposed it, one of the first things out of my mouth was "yeah, it might work if you find an 8 year old or something like that to play". So, a few more beers later, I turned into the 8 year old in question....actually, this is a NO WIN situation for me; if I win, of course I should have won. And (God forbid) if I lose .....TABPUBORIGINAL: EUBanana

I was thinking that too, that because Tabpub knows Mogs intentions already, it's not all that fair a scenario.
But then, thinking about it, Mog's had to strip every other operation to pull this off, so an Allied player would probably work it out pretty fast anyway...

Over 80 bombers; around 11 hits. Not bad, but have to improve on this in the near future.

Hmmm. If taking Prince Rupert is causing this much damage to Japanese shipping, an invasion of Frisco might not leave Mogami with enough to support the Japanese economy!

If Mog takes SF, the Japanese economy main spot will become California... By the way as he is not invading any oil/ressource base Japan economy has 6 months to live... and needs no shipping at all...

To AL: You mentioned the RR hex between Vancouver and Seattle in an earlier posting. I went and had my people look it over and it is marked as a land hex, not coastal? Were you thinking of something different, or from a different map edition or something?
Not that it matters, in that Mogami has (to my knowledge) always disdained landing at a non-base hex as not being correct and the fact that there would be little or no way to cover effectively against this type of landing.

I am at least 2 weeks behind where a compentant Japanese player conducting this operation would be.
