Another one. Always a day or two before they are fully healed, it seems. Traded for a scrub. Traded on July 28th, this image was from Aug 1st.

Bump for the oddness of the trades and the good discussion prior.

No. I rarely hear back from him, but then again I assume a number of guys are PMing him. So I mainly just leave questions in the forum. But I've got to scoot ahead with tweaking this file.

I did change a lot of my trade parameters - a bunch - but am still testing them this weekend. Resting what might be a slightly herniated cervical disc (ouch) so I've logged a lot of good sim time. The good news is, so far I see very little left in the parameters that I think will affect anything. Good or bad depending on how you see things like that. But since I don't code, I can only tweak and test.

I am not getting anymore of these silly trades going on. I want to go through about two more seasons to verify, but I think I have it ironed out. I am getting a lot of trades where a team trades a fading, established star to another club for a young prospect, especially when that team (the one trading for the younger prospect) is not in contention. Decent trades at least more than 50% of the time. Lots and lots of catcher for catcher trades - I have no clue why but it could be the player database.

But every season there is honestly one interesting trade. I'll talk more about it when I see some consistency over a few more seasons.

I recalled this conversation from previous versions. I've been looking at in the current version and I think age is playing too big of a role. the rankings of the players is 1,2,3. This is before the season, so there are not stats.

Player 1, 28 yo Control: 83 Velocity: 52 Stuff: 76 Potential: 45 Salary: 1.4MM End : 15
Player 2, 32 yo Control: 93 Velocity: 83 Stuff: 97 Potential: 33 Salary: 20.7MM End: 8
Player 3, 27 yo Control: 66 Velocity: 82 Stuff: 89 Potential: 46 Salary: 3.0MM End: 11

Here are my current settings:

 <IN_SEASON_EVAL_WT_1 Contact="15" Power="12" YouthHitter="0" Speed=".5" Arm=".33" Range=".33" Hands=".334" Salary="1" Stuff="15" Control="12" Youth="0" Endurance="8"/>

Is this about salary?
