I will try and do a DA on the units East of Toungoo, last time he was able to move out of the hex before combat.
It isn't shown, but I have units moving into Toungoo from the NE and units moving to the hex SW of Toungoo. There
are units moving to enter Toungoo from the NW also. The base should be mine in about 2 weeks or so.

In the air, Xargun sent 16 G3M3 Nell bombers to attack a TF at Sarmi. 25 P-40E and 24 F4U-1 fighters met them.
All 16 Nells were shot down, none of them made an torpedo run.

He also tried to sweep and bomb my troops East of Toungoo. Again he was met by fighters,
he lost 15 Helen bombers( 6 air-2-air, 6 flak and 3 ops ) and 2 A7M2 Sam( both air-2-air) while I lost
2 P-47D2 fighters( 1 air-2-air and 1 ops ).
My sweeps and bombers met no opposition.

I need a good amount of time to move troops into Toungoo, most of them are moving through the jungle to get there.

Not much, some bombing of Toungoo and surrounding hexes.

I lost another LCT at Biak, he does like to lay mines. I lose an LCT for 60 days and he loses a mine. Not sure who wins.

October 25, 1943

The only thing happening is bombing, me bombing Toungoo, the hex SW of it and Truk.

He tried bombing some of my troops in China and lost a few Helen and Ann bombers.

October 26, 1943

I still hate realistic weather. Four days now and most of my bombing missions in Burma have been weathered out.
I have had a real opportunity, there are troops in the clear terrain hex NE of Pegu and none of my bomber have flown.
I have had about 120 medium bombers and 100 heavy bombers ordered to bomb them, but they stay in their ready rooms
playing cards and drinking beer.

Xargun did send Nells to attack a local minesweeper TF at Biak, didn't work for him
Unescorted is not good. Tracker says 11 Nells were shot down

Finally the weather cleared in Burma and most of my bombers flew, they hit Toungoo, the hex SW and the hex 2 hexes SW of Toungoo.
They did good work preparing for the ground war that is starting again. I have ordered a DA at Toungoo, I think I have enough troops there to contest the hex
well, I am not sure what the fort level is now.

The only bombers that flew in Burma were the ones attacking the troops in the clear terrain hex NE of Pegu.
They are disabling a lot and destroying a few devices. By the time I get there, there might not be much there.

On the ground, Toungoo is liberated. As usual Xargun moved most of his troops out before I attacked.

Bombers hit Truk.

Lots and lots of bombers hit troops in the hex NE of Pegu, some destroyed devices and lots of disabled devices.

There is a movement arrow from Pegu to the SE? Moving across the river to defend?
Rangoon is in sight, I have 4 Divisions moving to the hex NW of Rangoon and the horde moving SW from Toungoo will
all join in.

Hmm, The Horde, sounds ominous. They are tasked to take Pegu and then most will move into Rangoon to assist in taking it.

That will open the Burma Road for 500 supply per day into China. I have some supply slowly moving into China from Ramree Island and Akyab.
I am repairing the oil at Magwe so I can produce fuel that is moving into Kunming to allow the HI there to produce.
I have over 380,000 supply in Burma now and it is growing every day.

Again Xargun has vacated a hex. He left the hex two hexes NE of Pegu. I am following. The next hex and Pegu are showing movement arrows.
