Look at this report from central china. Looks like china army on the move to SEAsia.
It may be a blessing in that FatR moved the entire southern army into Rangoon. It may also be a blessing that I did not move the 1st marines to rangoon early. Now instead of one jap army trapped I have two jap armies trapped.
I was thinking about short term ramifications. Seems Rangoon garrison has to stay in location to extract the central Burma army. In addition for the extraction to happen the KB has to stay on location or i will pulverize the ground armies w/air power.

I suspect the KB at rangoon has hurt my pilot cadre real bad.

then: Ground attack w/no naval or air support...
FYI, the marine 1st div and the California national guard 40th division(near Mandalay) were dispatched to SE Asia shortly after the losses of one British, one Australian, and 2 Indian division on the Andaman islands. The 7th AUS Division is a reconstituted unit originally destroyed at Lil Andaman in late 42. This is the first fight for the reorganized 8th div from Lark and Sparrow Battalions. For this operation 7th AUS div was at 2/3rd TOE. So beat up where the Indians the 1st marine division posted at Chittagong for about 9 months w/fear of IJA amphib attack.

and I continue my 1-2 attack every other day at Toungoo. It grinds on...
So I am looking at this task group. One marine armor battalion, 2 indian armored battalions and an Indian division at 2/3rds strenght. I figure the marines are having fun. Probably just gained respect for the indians.

On the second day of the turn the ground support for the Rangoon attack arrives late. Now why would these units fly one day late to support the ground attack???

And these guys also failed to fly on the 1st day. Looks like good things and bad things can happen w/ 2day turns. More like real life.

In SOPAC, I flipped all my LBA over to night attack. I have taken too much damage w/ daylight raids and my fighters are having a problem sweeping Lea.

I have had a roadtrip and slow to post. Dont like my laptop. Anyway this is a print of the Burma situation. The central valley IJA is on the move. Not sure but this situation could be changing into an allied breakout situation. The 14th army is approaching meilita and should roll the defense.

I moved another CVTF into the area. This one is operating off Java/Sumatra w/no enemy air cover in site. If I had the forces palembang would be open to an amphib operation.

I have landed at Abemama and made a level 3 AF but I lost one CVE and took a torp into another. Also lost an AO.
