Volkhov and Northwest Fronts attacks. Not advancing, but nice massacres... Enemies were dislodged from their fortifications and now...

Oh, and this is what 2ndCR has to say about this blizzard thing:

"Overall, the changes made plus using Big A's winter rules seems to have really made a difference. The previous 8 blizzards have played prior to 1.04 have had the entire German army in full rout status by now. At least I still have a front line of sorts"

Good news. I've got the 1st Guards Army (aka old 18th Army, Southern Front) [8D]

The army will stay in the front-line until the end of the blizzard offensive. Then the HQ will be sent to the reserve aka attached to Stavka. I should then assign minimum 5 Guards Rifle Divisions to this army. And they should be sent to dangerous, critical places (during the German '42 summer offensive). A firefighter brigade that is.

And whilst we are at it, I have been thinking about what to do with the Guards Rifle Divisions. I think they should be the armies reserves (on reserve mode). But given that maybe there won't be enough divisions, they will attached to Stavka and then, once the German offensive starts and I can deduce the main thrust, distribute these Guards among the armies which should be containing the fascist advance (as reserves, reserve mode). Yes, that's the plan [8D]

The operation near Orel continues. The bad news is that on next turn the Bryansk Front will need to rest... [:(] I still think I might bag some German divisions, which is ok

Kalinin Front (not active). Few attacks, 2ndACR is well entrenched here.

Western Front (not active) but many attacks were possible. Finally!

I already pasted some screenshots of the Bryansk Front (the Massacre Zone, I hope! ) so here's the northern part of the Southwestern Front. Active ergo I am advancing.
