Axis win initiative, clear weather globally. Germany and Japan land actions, Italy naval.

Only naval search to find is in Cape St Vincent. Both Italian subs are aborted (one survives a damage result) to Brest.


But 2 CW cps are sunk and another aborted to Gib.

Soviets contest another Luftwaffe ground strike against Yeremenko's HQ, to the north of Moscow.

The Stuka hit the Mech but missed the HQ.

Romanian ground strike on Sevastopol is successful.

In the land combat phase, Soviets have the better of air combat above Rokossovsky's HQ at the southern end of the line.

Leningrad holds out against Mannerheim's assault easily, despite shore bombardment and air support.

Antonescu storms Sevastopol with the assistance of bombers, German engineers, and heavy artillery.

Retreated Soviet units are destroyed.

Rundstedt forces Zhukov onto the defensive and to retreat in Central Russia.

To the south, Rokossovsky successfully defends against Manstein. The Germans are disorganised.

The Germans attack on the north bank of the Volga north of Moscow.
