YESSSS! He gives up! That's what 2ndACR wrote on the email: "Well, they are toast. No hope for them. Once you break thru the forts, I cannot stop you and counter attacks are futile basically".

And that's what I have seen when I have opened the turn. Had he opened a corridor maybe (and only maybe) he would have saved perhaps one or two units. I can't advance this turn on the Bryansk Front [:)] What's in the pic-a-nic basket? 5 infantry and 1 Panzer divisions (Germans the lot of them).

In the south, it looks like I destroyed a Rumanian division: shattered thing. This means it is gone for good if I well understood! [8D]

Updated losses.

This turn only 2 fronts can be active:

1) Southwestern
2) Southern

Ok... In the south it's a massacre [8|] I was not expecting to do that...

Total retreats this turn: 50 [8D]

Anyway, Leningrad attacks (not advancing). Only 2 and both: held

Volkhov and Northwest Fronts. Not advancing either.

Kalinin Front. As you can see, 2ndACR is very strong here [8D]

Quite many attacks in the Western Front thing [8D] Not advancing.

Bryansk Front attacks. Not advancing. A Tank Brigade advanced because there was a gap [;)]

Southwesten Front Massacres. I am advancing [:)]

And the Southwestern Front Massacres Part II (aka southern part).

Southern Front. Finally! The big cities will be mine. And I guess two German divisions should be in the bag as well! [8D] In the south, I am concentrating mobile forces... I will infiltrate the enemy front, apparently empty. Crimea, here we go!

You guys evidently agreed to some house rules. If you have both updated to the latest beta patch, there really is no need for it in future games.
