Allied troops storm ashore in N. Africa uncontested. The liberation of Africa begins.

A sudden turn for the worse in the weather.

Japan takes a naval action. Convoy escorts are sent out and troops take to the China Sea. Only search, subs in Hawaiian Islands, fails (6, 6).

Germany and Italy take land actions. No attacks.

More Allied troops land in Africa. Alexander and Eisenhower are in joint command of Operation Cappacino.

Italy declares war on USSR. Germany and Japan land actions, Italy combined.

Germany plays an offensive chit on Guderian's HQ, lining up an assault on Moscow.

Italian naval search in Red Sea fails.

Ground strike on Moscow in the surprise impulse avoids AAA damage.

The ground strike on Moscow is successful.

To the south, German artillery attached to von Bock's HQ is less successful.

Ground strike by Italian Alcione bombers is weakened to 1 factor by Red Army AAA, and fails.

Stukas hit one of their targets west of Saratov.

In France, remaining Allied forces shelter in forests.

Badoglio arrives at Oran to organise measures against the Allied build up in Morocco.

The Luftwaffe gets their remaining bomber through to support the assault on Moscow.

The Germans also attack in Tambov oblast, and meet aerial resistance. The Stuka clears to target.

The Germans achieve a mediocre retreat result near Saratov in their response to a recent Soviet counter-attack.

The blitz near Tambov is more successful.

Rundstedt's panzers break through to the Oka River.

The assault on Moscow fails despite the O-chit. Losses for both sides.

Americans bravely hold out on the west coast of France.

In northern China, Yamamoto advances and cuts supply to communists trapped in the mountains.

In Russia, Guderian and von Bock reorganise their forces.

CW sorties a large carrier fleet into the western med to support Operation Cappacino. The italians are surprised and a large carrier bomber force sends the survivors scurrying back to port and air bases. Here is a shot of the losses.
