The 7th Panzer div with an assist from the 253rd Inf Div are going to try to take out that Soviet armour division blocking the north end of the line of Soviet divisions protecting Minsk.

It just occured to me that I ought to check the progress on the railroad so I can make an estimate of about when I can start attacking in earnest in, say, Smolensk. All the track in the blue rectangle was finished in turn 5...so at the same rate as that I'd say we would have track all the way to Smolensk by turn 9 or 10. And to Moscow by turn 20 or so.

The 5th, 6th, and 26th Inf Div's are performing a flank attack on a Soviet division to the NNW of Minsk with the intent to destroy it and the other division present there. Several regiments of those Axis divisions are tired but there are more rested divisions embarked on the rails leading into Minsk visible in the picture.

The 35th, and 87th Inf Div's are hoping to displace the Soviet airborne brigade so as to get a flanking shot on the Soviet divisions facing them. My Soviet opponent has very cleverly arranged his units so that there is no good flanking attacks to be had, and so I must make some by displacing the weakest places in the line of defenders.

The 252nd, and 263rd Inf Div's are hoping to displace the Soviet NKVD division so as to make flanking attacks on the Soviet divison to the NKVD's south. The Axis division to the north of the NKVD division have no movement points left or they would assist in the attack.
