I wouldn't believe it if I were you. It's probably one of those Allied disinformation plots. Once radio communications with your forces there are reestablished, you'll see that everything is fine. They just needed to replace some batteries in their radios.

What's this thing you call radio? We use flag semaphore. I believe even Sarah Palin's mom uses that to work out lend-lease deals with Uncle Joe. (bad Tina Fey joke. Bad has several meanings colloquially).

You all know that Soviet command tanks (sometimes) had a radio, but they used semaphore to communicate with their subordinate tanks? OMG what if all Soviet tanks had radios?
