Japan rail a territorial from South Manchuria to Central Manchuria.

The Japanese 4th Cavalry division reach Ulan-Ude and have yet to meet any opposing forces. The route to inner Siberia seem wide open.

Germany occupy Gomel.

Japan make a second assault on Chungking. Japan also initiate a mop up operation in the Vladivostok region.

Italy advance and attacks into the Nile Delta.

Germany makes three attacks in USSR.

The Soviet fleet can support the 9th Guard Army in their valiant defence of the Odessa pocket.

The attack is currently 42:11 with +3 on the die roll. Will USSR commit any shore bombardment to support the defenders?

Italy launched a low odds attack, with HQ support, against the CW defenders in the Nile delta. Will CW fly any defensive ground support?

Italy expects to have a die modifier of +4.

The Soviet Union can also provide ground support to two of the attacks. The defenders in the Odessa pocket is out of reach for the Soviet aircrafts.

The German attack odds from North to South as follows:
59:4 (USSR select LCT)
47:7 (USSR select LCT)(German ground support is included in the attacking factors)
42:11 (+3 due to blitz bonus and disorganized defender, Germany select LCT)

So will USSR fly any support?

Italy is shocked by their success in Egypt. They had never expected to actually reach Alexandria without reinforcements from a couple of strong German units. Then they somehow captured Alexandria and got a new, major, supply port so the Italian morale sored and the offensive was ordered forwards. Fearing a British counter-attack the Italians cautiously advanced into the delta and probed the CW defences. The thought that they could actually shatter a British Army never actually occurred to the Italians. Suddenly a probe and a sideshow has turned into something else.

CW must shatter two units and destroy one. Which unit gets destroyed?

Edited because I apparently remember the rule wrong and MWIF was right. [:)]

I'll destroy the Egyptian territorial if I get no answer soon.

The reason I ask is because the territorial arrive in Egypt and the other two units appear in Great Britain.

In order to move forward I destroy the territorial.

The attack against Dnepropetrovsk was a success with the tiniest margin. Without the German ground support the attackers would have been disorganized.

The Japanese offensive in Eastern Siberia is halted but the Army group suffers no losses.

Japan rebase their naval bombers back into central China.

No reorganization.

There is nothing whatsoever to lose so I Pass with all and the turn ends on a 3.

I draw a Japan chit and choose "Freeze Japanese Assets".

Hello

On 11/9/2014, there was a naval combat, 5 RN cruisers against 4 Subs, and the Allies got 7 surprise points.
Warspite1, maybe you could have used 4 surprise points to choose sub combat and use your cruisers' ASW points to hit the submarines ? With rather weak cruisers such as Despatch and the other ones (4 with 2 surface combat and 1 with 1 surface combat fadctors) you would have hit them harder, 2 columns to the right compared to your naval surface column, thus getting the same benefit as if you had used 4 surprise points for two column shifts, whereas the sumarines would have had 0 target to shoot at.

I learned that nasty trick when it was used against me.

Best regards

Thank you for the suggestion. [:)]

I'll keep it in mind as I am sure that My Lord Warspite1 will as well.

Sorry about this folks - we are having issues with the game (specifically the sentry status at the moment). Hopefully we can sort this one and get moving again.
