Japanese searches in Marshalls and Hawaiian Islands fail.

The Germans launch an automatic attack on the Oka River.

Disorganised and out of supply Red Army units on the north bank of the Oka hold out.

But Yamamoto braves mountain storms to destroy isolated Chinese Maoists.

In W Med, the Allies found, aborting the Vichy naval bomber and destroying a cp.

Both sides found in Cape St Vincent.

One sub was destroyed, the other damaged and aborted.

Luftwaffe air raid on Leningrad.

Japanese air raid on Calcutta.

Balbo storms Khartoum after a long march down the Nile to take command of the besieging Italian and Italian colonial forces.

Yamashita's Army Group lashes out in India, but does not advance.

Umezu attempts to seize back the initiative in Kweichow. Both sides take losses.

A riskier attack in northern China fails.

After a long wait at sea for suitable weather, Japanese Marines and Engineers lead a successful invasion on Luzon Island, Phillippines.

The turn ends.

A partisan uprising in Brest has serious consequences. 3 saved oils are destroyed, and two disorganised Italian submarines!
