What is the point of visiting St. Croix 400 ft underwater. You can't see any of the breasteses.

Air losses last two turns.

The takedown of Koepang and landing at Lautem resulted in the loss of:

7 B-24, 5 B-17F, 5 P-38, 10 F4F and maybe 6-7 P-40

But there was serious hemorrhaging on JJ's side.

70+ Zero (all types)
30 Betty
15 Oscar
4-5 Tony

Carriers are moving NE to cover the landing of a Marine Regt at Namlea.

JJ transports at Manado, NE tip of Sulawese. JJ has some inkling of Operation Fist of Fury now that the shoulder has been secured at Lautem. Now for the fist part. Normally it works the other way around..well, that's what I heard. The big lubricant shipment has not arrived yet. Options for purchase from local vendors are being considered.

Terante still apears unoccupied. The busy para boys at Namlea will drop there in a few days. Namlea is level 2 and can support C-47's...I think.

Attack at Derby today with the always reliable Col. Pepper in charge. No LYB's at Derby.

Map from a few pages back for reference. You know, I just noticed something, somebody is really blabbing quite a bit because every day of battle takes about 3 pages. [:)]

You know, it is really tiring listening to Europeans brag about their free medical care. We get **** for free too.

My Sikh* gastroenterologist just gave me 3 free meals..and it's low calorie too! Sodium Phosphate, Potassium Phosphate and Magnesium Phosphate. I wonder what phosphate is going to taste like. I wonder if the phosphate came from that little island NE of the Solomons covered by 20,000 years of guano? [X(] I hope they rinsed it off or something.

* This may seem not germane but I was just wondering if he ever has to change his turban after a procedure.

**********************************Today, Desk at Aisle E, 2nd floor, San Diego Sharp Memorial Hospital*************************

Dr. France: So i've noticed this thing lately, nurse.

Nurse English: What is that Doctor?

Dr. France: Since we started to hand out the drugs every other day, instead of every day. It has had some unfortunate side effects on the staff and clients.

Nurse English:: Like what, Doctor?

Dr. France: Well, the clients seems to still come by every day.

Nurse English:: You're right Doctor. I see the staff and clients chatter all day.

Dr. France: Do you think it could be a substitude for the drugs, nurse. A bait, pocket and then dangle them effect.

Nurse English:: You know Doctor. Didnt u need a subject for the medical study to finnish up ur PH.D.

Dr. France: How would I ever get M&M Enterprises to fund that study....<Lightbulb> Quid pro quo

Hey..I've been there! La Jolla. I had no idea they had such a problem. Usually the nurses are busy reading romance novels or trying to get the male doctors to cheat on their wives...that is, except for the nurse supervisors which are inevitably from Lesbos.

It might actually be a good thing if they talk to the patients.

Coolest location for a hospital in San Diego. Naval Hospital near Balboa Park. They used to have a big stucco building painted flamingo pink with terracotta roof tiles. Nothing else like it. I guess they tore it down for earthquake safety. [&:]

Here are some of the older buidlings.

Also, close to home, the USMC Air Station, El Toro is open in the game as I am getting FM-1 squadrons training there. I think the blimp hangars in Tustin are open too.

Somebody spent a "shed-full" of taxpayer money on these things and I don't think they ever spotted anything bigger than a grey whale...well...maybe a blue.

They are still there too. It looks like something the Soviets would have built. By ra way. I think the game OOB is off a bit. This was completed in April, '42(a). The blimps showed up early in '43 or very late "42? Perhaps it took that long to build the blimps in a union shop? Maybe Yossarian caused some type of screw up in time again?

See, this is the advantage of brainstorming. The introduction of new perspectives. I feel like we are the Apollo 13 engineering team trying to make a CO2 scrubber out of odor-eaters, duct tape and latrine baggies.

Are you, Brits I mean, coming out as European then? I had thought there was some dispute.
