No snow here

It is -2 degrees Centigrade here (it was -5 degrees Centigrade in the morning) - it was snowing during night but much lighter than expected - just 5 c (i.e. 2 inches)...

Now there is beautiful sunny fay with blue skies!

Unfortunately starting from Monday and continuing well after Christmas we will be seeing temerature of around +10 degrees Centigrade - this will mean temperature jump of about 15 degrees Centigrade! [X(]

I'm going to break one of the major rules of this forum now.

I agree with you T its very sad

It's not sad, it's infuriating. These are the same people who have used 9/11 as an excuse for everything they've done for the past almost 10 years, and now they won't lift a finger to ease the pain of the heroes of that day. A plague-bearing sewer rat has more honour than the GOP senatorial class of the 111th Congress.

We've got a whole 4 inches here, predicted for a while as well, so the obvious thing to do is to not grit the roads. And panic. Feckin eejits everywhere I tells you, either driving around at 10 mph or getting stuck in a snow patch and thinking that POWER and revs will get them out [8|]

Josh did not seem particularly impressed by the white stuff. He's got some wellies and a snow suit now so he's having a proper play later.

And while I remember, if I'm hosting anyone's sig banner you'd better make a backup of it.  I'm not renewing my website, it costs money and time, I haven't had enough of either lately to make it worthwhile keeping.

Agree with rtrapasso. Mille Bornes was strictly a 'beer and pretzels' format. Reminds me of "Family Business", a good opportunity for reestablishing animus and recreating normative relationships. One of my favorite games....[:D]

Quite a fun little job...like PIT, which I also played in the day. Neither holds a candle to the many hours I spent whipping gadflys at Rook though.

Never played PIT or Rook...hmmm...I sense an opportunity arising here.[:)]

Early morning tithe, have returned from a xmas shopping trip. How someone could take 2x hours to chose a gift, when it would take me 10x seconds, I will never fathom. But sometimes a man has to do penance for his small freedoms. [;)]

Yes indeed. She likes to shop ( fortunately she does not really buy all that often ) and I like to read. Works out ok [:)]

Played some WitE last night. Interesting. Gonna have to figure out all this screen information. Playing Road to Minsk I ended up moving the wrong green HQ forward to keep the panzers supplied. [8|]  Definitely going to be a learning cliff on this one.
