The Bf-110's do enough to scare off the Harrows. With no bombers left to escort, the Gladiators return to their carrier.

There are no declarations of war or alignments but the Japanese, sensing the British Empire is at full stretch, decides to turn the screw and orders the Burma Road be closed.
...and now a brief history lesson

The strong-arm Japanese action is immediately picked up by Cordell Hull and the State Department. But Hull is perplexed by the news "There is a country called Burma? Fur real dough?"
The US need to react to this Japanese provocation but realise that no one actually knows where Burma is and that it has a road - green or otherwise. And so, desperate to get to the bottom of this, President Roosevelt intervenes personally....
...all of which is a long-winded way of saying that the US throws a 7 and take no action....and to highlight that MWIF neatly changes the road from green to white to signify to players its closure

The Regia Aeronautica order a flying boat unit to patrol the Western Mediterranean.
The Italian aircraft spot a lone cruiser in the distance - and make out what they believe to be the lone vessel of the Algerie-class - one of the finest of the treaty cruisers.

Edit: Regia Aeronautica tried to send the flying boat to the West Med to hunt for Allied ships. If there is time to amend that then that would be nice. If not, then that works as well.

Okay I cannot see that Orm is online so to keep the game going I will increase the Naval Combat Column. This moves expected losses from abort to damage.
The French AA gunners do just enough to keep the Italian bombers from delivering their ordnance on target, but some near misses result in Algerie aborting to port.

Naval Combat (Cont):
After the brief action, the Italian pilots need time to re-group, by which time the sea appears empty. At the same time the French ships still at sea scan the horizon but can locate nothing (throws of 8 and 9).
Where does Algerie wish to abort to?

Some real entente cordial, which is similar to lime cordial but tastes nicer and makes you feel better.

The Japanese manoeuvre in China without any real advancement. A few units tries to outflank the Chinese defences.
Italy debark one division into La Spezia.
Japan rebase one fighter and one bomber from the North front in China to the South front.
Germany fly one reorganization mission to the front panzers. Does France want to use their AA?
