Even if they weren't - it would be unacceptable to let them suffocate instead of ending it with a good knife.

It is faster. I'd prefer to have my ending coming fast instead of it taking several minutes!

Also, you are required to anestethize/benum every vertebrate in Germany before killing it. I have a special cudgel for that. You smash it on the head of the fish and then turn the fish. A fish always has his eyes on level with the horizon when awake. So you know when he is benum and then either stick the knife in his heart (though easy to miss and thus usually not teached) or you do the "Kiemenrundbogenschnitt" so "gill-round-bow-cut" where you separate the heart from the ateries by putting the knife through the gill openings onto the other side and cut down.

Blue eyes and black hair, yes. But her face usually "wouldn't be mine" as we say in Germany. But she "has something" (also German)... [;)]

Let the weekend begin.
Not much into the summer olympics. I was going to watch some of the women's beach volleyball; until I heard they were going to make them wear burhkas.[:'(]
I'm more of a winter olympics guy anyway. Can't wait to see the Danish women's curling team. Yum.[;)]
