I absolutely love the ability to transfer 5/10 pilots at a time. Probably saves me 10 minutes a turn.
Here's another few ideas for air related time-saving features:
1. The default for rebasing should be "select on map". I.e., when you hit rebase, it should automatically bring up the map instead of a list of bases. I don't know if I've ever selected a base from the list, and I certainly wouldn't miss it if you could only select the base on the map. Saves a click every time you transfer air units.
2. It would be really nice (although maybe harder to do) to have a way to transfer ALL air units at a base to another base at the same time. Often I have 10+ air units at a base going to a single other base. Or maybe all fighters/bombers, etc.
3. It would be nice if you could set ALL bombers (including TB/DB/LB) to the same mission (instead of just one of these).
4. Similarly, it would be nice if you could set all fighters/fighter bombers/floatfighters to the same mission (instead of just one of these).
5. Whenever air units are flying either night missions or Kamikazes, you have to set each unit's mission individually (the "set all" fighters, bombers, etc. dosen't work for these). I would be ok if they flew the same mission as the day units with a single click for "set all figthers/bombers".

objection! re-basing through the base screen is the only way unless your on a part of the map where your geography skills are....weaker. When you become familiar with the bases the menu will reward you with support,size, etc. This is critical when playing the shell game and staging larger raids IMO. If you had a button to transfer all squadrons at once, very rare, you could make a huge whooops. newb 2 cents.
newb question: Can you change the weather pref once engaged in PBEM (ie can the Japanese player effect this) or are we "stuck with what we got"?
newb request: eventually.............a new, revised PDF game manual?

newb comment: I can not begin to express my awe at the level of service to the game and the community here.[&o]

Oh one other:
When adding vetrans to a group, the screen should start on "reserve" by default instead of "any". I've never used anything else. this would save two clicks each time.

But the map shows all this information too... And let's you see all the nearby bases.

On the transfer ship window can you include on the mouseover what is loaded on a ship. E.g. 90th/1 US Div, 320th BG

Replaces the quick patch. Some subtle changes, mainly with the player aircraft upgrades.

Tweak Allow Army list filters to be passed to Draw Army screen for next/prev army [MEM]
The next and previous buttons on the LCU screen are the only ones affected by the earlier list filters.

Yes. Michael is only working on code.

In the "Form Task Force" screen, I sometimes miss a "Supress ships in task forces" button (similar to the "Suppress ships not due to upgrade" button), so only ships disbanded in port will be displayed in the "from" window (upper half).
Could be useful when creating a new TF in a port with big TFs present (e.g Osaka, San Francisco) - which may require a lot of scrolling to get at the ships disbanded in port.

Antoher "wishlist" item would be to be able to put a name/note on air groups, land units, and maybe ships and bases just like you can give a name to TFs. This would be great to remind yourself what you are doing with those units/bases. Maybe hard to implement (not sure), but would be REALLY cool [8D]

I would like to be able to fill out some of my American AA units with their original devices at the same time I could have some upgrade to newer devices. I'm just past the July 42 big AA device reinforcements. Many of my American AA are going to the newer devices, but I would like some that have withdrawl dates be able to fill out with current devices rather than try to upgrade to the newer ones. Someway to turn off looking for new devices for each unit would be nice here.
