faber: the idiot Chinese in Pucheng are still thoroughly stuck at 59 miles... they i order them every turn to Nanchang and they dutifully say they will march NW... and every turn i check them and see they are trying to march NE (an illegal hex, since your and my troops are both there).

i have 2 easy and one hard solution - i'll forgo discussing the hard one for now.

First easy one: try attacking them again... they are even shorter on supplies than before, and i have reset their objectives so the AV should be decreased... also, i stopped running recon some time ago and this should also decrease AV. This has the disadvantage that i don't know if it will work, and will cost supplies and casualties on both sides.

Second easy solution: move your troops 49,39 back 1 hex: this will free up the path that the idioten seem determined to try... once they have left Pucheng, i will withdraw my ENTIRE stack to the west... You can then reoccupy the hex without hassle. i don't really see any downside to this approach.

What do you think??? [&:]
