TF 335 is a task force built around a carrier. I'm sending it even more south to take care of an outbreak of Allied ships from the New-
castle area. The docked and disbanded symbol has dissappeared from Brisbane and I don't know what that means in terms of the
success of a port attack....I'll have to test that out and see. Meanwhile, maybe there's some more ships in Newcastle that I can sink.

This is a bird's eye view of my skirmish line in front of Wake. It's not straight because Jim might expect a straight line. Also, I'm too lazy
to make it straight. Notice that these ships are more toward the cheap end of the ship cost zone. I expect to lose them. They are to be
considered expendable. In real war this duty would be rotated among the other ships in the division to make it as fair as possible
because it's not considered all that popular w/ the sailors, this duty. So I'd guess I'd better start rotating the duty among some other
ships to make it fair for everybody. Just another detail to take care of in this click-world game......makes it more realistic too. For me at
least.

Kwajalien is down to 11K of fuel and I consider that an emergency so I'm going to designate this AP w/ escort as TF 456
and send it and some badly needed fuel to Kwajalein. I notice that the escort complains that it hasn't the range to make that kind of trip
so I give it a waypoint of Truk to refuel fully and if it can't make it even that far then I'll just do refueling ops enroute to enable the escort
the range to make the trip. I expected to have to do that anyway. That's what you guys would do right? Opinions are enabled. Um....
I've been giving some thought to maybe assigning each escort an "area" to have to cover escort duties and control them like an air traffic
controller would have to control airplanes. And to more or less standardize the routes I could assign escorts to the gaps in the chain of
the route from island to island or whatever, to try to make sure that each gap has an escort and that each ship entering that gap gets an
escort assigned so that everybody is escorted if possible. What do you guys think of that, perchance?

TF 460 is a CM that laid about 50 mines about 5 days ago in and around the port of Darwin and I don't know how many mines are left
from the original minefield and even Tracker won't tell me because it's an Allied base and I'm the Jap and so I'm not sure the tending of
the mines is doing any good so I don't know if I should risk a CM to this mission any more. It's in patrol mode so it's not using a bunch of
fuel and it's not suffered any major damage to fix and it's not being attacked yet, at least from Darwin. Maybe Jim will sail a volunteer
suicide missiion to Darwin just to get my CM. I'm thinking that event has very low probability and give it a discount big enough to ignore
it. I'll leave him there for now just to see what happens next. Do I run out of mines to tend or does Jim attack my CM somehow or other.

Here's a strange one: it's a TK with a tanker mission and it says loading oil but it's taking onboard resources. ???

Not strange at all. That tanker-class have also a small supply capacity. It'll load both oil and resources.

I can't clear the minefield at Manila very well yet and barrelled right in there just like I knew what I was doing and one of my CL's hit a mine
but he survived and he's on his way to Saigon w/ an escort to get fixed right. I'm going to continue getting ships hit by mines everytime
I enter that minefield I'll bet. Just so long as the ships survive I can almost live with that.

YEAH. That's what I'm talking about. Naval bombardment is accellerating the breakdown of Manila and that's a good thing. That mine-
field is worrying however. I'm using only one DMS ship 'cause it's the only one left that's undamaged and I just entered the Manila mine-
field and only had one ship hit a mine and it survived and I'm thinking that's going to happen again with a different ship next time but it's
almost worth it if I can bombard Manila again.

My Zero's did a sweep of Soerabaja and found a Dutch plane to shoot down. I think maybe the Dutch are just about out of planes.
