TF 103 is delievering a 23K bolt of fuel to Truk, which is just in the nick of time because Truk was running low on fuel. I'd like to keep the
hubs w/ about 100K of everything just to cover all the bases in the nodes below the hub.

I just did an emergency drop-off of some 6K in resources at Hankow and depending on how fast Hankow burns up those resources I'm
thinking I might have to do another drop-off again maybe real soon. I'm going to coast down to Shanghi and load up on resources just
in case they are needed quickly in Hankow.

One of my subs was headed for San Diego and ran across an Allied TF by chance and it appears to me at first guess to be some
wounded BB's headed for the various repair shipyards around the Seattle area. I'm going to see if I can't keep them in sight of the sub
and maybe follow them to their destination keeping in mind what the destination is so further planning can take place as to future raids
of various kinds. I'm guessing that it would take about 8 or 10 AO's of varying sizes to stage a raid on the west coast and raids of this
nature would be facilitated muchly by a closer base, say in Alaska. I'm thinking I need a base in Alaska.

I've just now received Jim Moore's moves so I'm going to watch the movie and then post some fresh combat reports. Stay tuned........I'm going to stay up tonight working on these.
EDIT: There were several night time air attacks on Darwin. By Betty's and Nell's.

And then the Japs did a night-time naval bombardment of Manila and got pretty good results.

And then this happened:

It appears that the Allies have mine-laying subs or something. I'd hate to think these mines were left over from when the Japs captured
the island from the French back in 1878 or something. I need to be getting some mine sweepers out to these islands to look things over.

There was a lot of vigorous negotiation in the meeting the Zero's took with the KittyHawks in Brisbane.

There were several air attacks by the Japs on Manila with similar results each time

And then my Claudes at Buna decided to do some straffing and I'm not sure if raids like this are doing any good.......no damage was
listed so I'm not sure whether or not to keep going with these raids. On the other hand, raids like this probably buck up the average
Jap soldier so maybe it's a good thing to do. For them.

And then, the same afternoon, south of Tarawa the Jap carrier-borne bombers found some Allied ships racing to get away and put the
hurt on them.

I've got about 2054 PP's saved up. I'm just about to find out if that's enough to buy the services of another division from somewhere.
I haven't even touched the Mongolian Garrison yet so there's some gold in them thar hills. Just have to have the PP's for 'em.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot to tell you about the Allied daily ground bombardment at Port Moresby. I guess my out-of-supply-ness is
really effecting the adjustment of the AV. Maybe I should try another supply convoy.

I was checking after the status of all my naval planes just now when I discovered, quite to my amazement, that I have about 5 subs that
don't have their search planes aboard. Or something. Anyway, I need to look into that and fix it, if it's indeed broke.
EDIT: Okay, here's the skinny........the units are aboard the sub alright, it's just that the unit doesn't have any planes. So the next time
that sub is in port I guess I need to transfer the unit to the base or something to get that unit a plane or two. Anybody know how this
works? How to get a sub's search plane some aircraft?
