Add "... involving assault weapons" and you got yourself a SWAT visit!
The 17 Pounder under current gun laws might not qualify as an assult weapon. It is a single shot weapon exclusively used for defensive purposes and the hunting of big game such as Panthers and Tigers ...[:'(]

No sir, the extra funding will have to come from New York's 2 senators. That is what they are there for. [:)]

I know that question was for the Honourable Lord Admiral, but it seems you should specify what level and how fortified it is.

Agreed. It's obvious that the English Gentleman from Kandy House would have a fancy port, if he had any sort of port whatever. Where else to dock his fancy ships?

Oh, oh, oh! I know what an Aggie Weston is. 4th rotor, setting A-7. The architecture and blinds and open verandas and windows do NOT look like England.
The archway looks Moorish. Gibraltar maybe?

That surface group North of Jolo did not show up. The AK's and the CL group should be on station now. We may have just won the fight for Jolo.

Sorong, Sorong: Rooks rike we should have attacked earlier. Probabry a week and a half of air strikes took the starch out of 'em.
We brought the equivalent of a USMC division (even if I mixed "Hollywoood Marines" with 2nd Div Marines [:)]) plus 2 combat engineer units and a Bn of Stuarts. Curiously the attack strength was 2x the nominal value. I didn't know that could happen. Pretend I didnt read the manual. Also not quite sure how the defenders were less prepared. they must have been there 6 months at least. This powerfully secures the right flank of the salient and threatens the North coast of New Guinea.
Ground combat at Sorong (82,107)
Allied Deliberate attack
Attacking force 14992 troops, 282 guns, 371 vehicles, Assault Value = 584
Defending force 5836 troops, 32 guns, 96 vehicles, Assault Value = 196

Davao: JJ have deduced the pattern and they are seriously protecting their major airfields. Precious P-38's are lost. Sometimes you just have to joust on even terms...and take a lance to the shoulder....and it hurts like ****. Sadly the B-24's at Boela fail to take advantage of the opportunity after the sacrifice of the P-38 squadron. I'm not naming names but I suspect union acitivty.

Cotabato: To my partial surprise (and perhaps to Admniral Lord Sprior as well [:)]). ...nothng terrible happpens How long can this go on? Maybe we should just load up 4-5 regiments and set sail for Kyushu? It's a Naval Guard unit at Cotabato. This must be a Bn level unit right?
