In my currecnt game as Britain, in the Standard Campaign, that the American Merchant's have gotten stuck in the North Atlantic. I didn't notice at first, but then I realized I wasn't seeing any American Merchant's anywhere. A quick look about the map found all 9 (nine) of them sitting in the North Atlantic.

And there they sat, turn after turn after turn. I reckon they've been there a good 40 or so turns now.

Any ideas on how to make them move again?

That's strange.  I've never seen that before.  Would you mind very much sending me your save game from this?  Just zip together the .sve and .rep files and e-mail them to ericbabe@west-civ.com.  I'll take a look.
