What are the negative effects of pitching out frequently?? Could this lead to more walks???

I guess my point is why not pitch out every time a runner is on, if there are no noticable negative effects. Am I missing something?

In another string, it was said that when you call for a pitch out, you do incease the likely hood of a walk.  I don't recall where this statement came from, (Shaun or another)

It was Shaun see tm.asp?m=1196605&mpage=1&key=pitch&#1196605
