Hi all,

I am currently playing the scenario Finland 1941 and I have a lot of artilleries with range 1. How can I use them for direct attack without getting engaged i close-combat ? Or isn“t that possible ? Perhaps I can only use them as supportive artillery behind my frontline if I get attacked ?

Regards,

You can place them in tactical reserve or entrenched adjacent to enemy units and they can then passively support the attack.

Thanks for the answer!

Ok, so I cannot use them in direct attack from range, but I can support my attack passively if they are dug-inl. Will they support my units being attacked if the artillery is placed one hex behind my front or do I have to put it together with my frontline units ?

It can support from one hex back. The whole combat is assumed to take place in the defender's hex.
