PBEM & WIR

Gentlemen;
If one of you kind souls could step me through the "Play By E Mail" proceedure, I would surely be indebted to you.
I'm using V3.2 and the PBEM supplied on the WIR down load page.
How do you start a PBEM WIR session?
Which program do you open first WIR or PBEM?
What options do you select in WIR?
Where do you save a game? After Orders or Combat?
I started a game (full camgpain) with a friend, but we really missed up. I recieved his first turn via e mail, doubled clicked the "Attachment" and PBEM started up. Selected the "SaveA" file (his saved game). and hit the "run" button. This is where I became slighty <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0"> confused. I hit "load saved game". His combat was shown and I proceeded to do my turn. I wasn't sure where to save the game or what options to use.
As you can see I (we) need some help. Many thanks
