Any particular reason you say this?

If you ask me thats pretty cheap when you compare price to other games out there on the market.

IMHO, the new graphics and the existing game mechanics would be enough to set the price at 25.

Why is it that people will not give a programmer the due they deserve for the hours of programming they do? Do you think that it should be for free? Perhaps you should do your job for the next month or so for free just because your boss would think it a good deal to get your labor cheap for a time. That is essentially what you are doing when you whine about cost. Get Real. <img src="mad.gif" border="0">

Not quit sure whether to call you megabucks or microbucks. Have you checked out the price of software these days. We could probably answer that with a no.

25 or 40 or 50 dollars for a game, it really does not matter. What matters is the quality of the game. Order the game (I have not seen it, but I will definetely buy it) andtry it out, then decide if you payed too much. If you are not sure about the quality of the games matrix sells, try looking at their free games (yes free). See what they did to some great classics. Based on their reputation, I will but almost anything from them. In fact I am waiting for Uncommon Valor, War in the Pacific and Napoleonic Wars (wish I could buy everything).

I fail to see the logic in this statement. If you claim it should be sold for $20, then by definition you are claiming $25 is too much.
Never mind, though, the game will be $45 or so. If you know of a source for high quality wargames for just $20 a pop, please let me know.
