Another question about the game

Thinking about buying PS 2007 and I want to see if I read this right, is it true that the player data base is good up until 2005? What about this season?

As I understand it the Lahman database has not been updated any further than 2005. I seem to recall reading a thread a short time ago that indicated that it was only recently updated to include that year. Since the database includes stats it would appear that the season must be over before it can be updated to include 2006.

Correct... Sean Lahman updates the database at the end of each season.
