Well, one of the nice things about having one code base is that all the work that has been going into this patch (and a lot involves improvements and not simply bug fixes) all will find its way into BFTB. Also, at the same time that patch development has been going on others have been working on BFTB scenarios, estabs, maps, and issues etc...
Our efforts are a model of decentralization in the post-industrial era. Aside from Dave spinning off new EXEs every time I log on, it's amazing how much activity is going on across a broad spectrum!

Well as you point out time is marching on and waits for no man. And this man has been tied up almost exclusively on the patch. Paul has been working on the overhaul fo the force groups class - nearly done. Hopefully he will finish that at the same time I finish the patch. Then we'll dive into the dynamic terrain class and minefields. Being realistic it will be tough to make Xmas but don't tell those West Front DDT members. We want them to continue driving hard - mum's the word right. [;)]

Question on BtfB... I've read many a time where a single platoon on the American side would be spread out to cover a huge gap. Like 2km or more with just a 2-man foxhole every 100m. Curious to hear if the code is going to be modified to allow this. Right now, you can't spread out the formation of a single unit.

Unlikely, they wouldn't even be able to provide early warning unless they were wired in. Not worth the effort as tactically (or better yet, Operationally) they would be irrelevant.
