It does't work anymore!!!

A sudden passage through the starting menu: a click on the starting icon and the game doesn't start, leading to the XP desktop!
I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, to install it over another PC, but the result is the same.

That's very odd. What version of the game were you using?

I have a similar (the same?) problem on W2k - WaW.exe crasches to the desktop with a DrWatson log when I try to start the game.
The strange thing is that I was playing it yesterday?!? I don't think I've made any changes since then - the last ZoneAlarm update was on the 3rd, so I can see no change that I have made.
I think I'm running the 1.202 update, but I can't make sure, as they game won't start and your FTP-site for downloads is down.

... and now it works again. What a weird experience. I haven't changed anything - no patch, no reboot, no settings, no nothing, but now it works again.
Phases of the moon?
