In an effort to free up some space on my hd, I uninstalled PS2003. Now I can't run PS2007. I rebooted and reinstalled, but no dice.

The error is "Assertion failed on line 9."

Help!!! I'm going through withdrawl. My hands are shaking.

Steve

Not to be a downer but I did the same thing about 3 or 4 months ago and have not been able to play PS2007 ever since.

I tried everything possible but zero luck.

Hope you can figure it out because I would love to play again!

I went through withdraws myself, don't worry it wears off after awhile. [:)]

Alas, I'm in the same sorry state as the two of you. I had a crash in PS2007, did the recommended uninstall-reinstall and now all I get is "Assertion failed on line 9." Nothing I have tried will fix the problem.

I've been without Puresim for a week now, and it's painful...

It may be that you are trying to reinstall using a patch?

After uninstalling be sure to reinstall using a full install (for example the original 1.0 version). Then apply the patch.

Next stupid question...Where do I go to find a full copy of the game?
