Turn on the way. Axis jackboots into Poland in the summer of 39' ... total war cant be far away [X(]

a rather large British fleet showed up off the coast of Holand in the fall (39), Goering and Rader prep to ensure they can provide the right answers for the boss[;)]

Winter 40 sees the Germans attack norway ( it went 'leaning allied' upon the capture of Denmark last turn) this will cause Finland to go Axis in the spring [8D] ( adjacient friendly neutral checked when attacking enemy friendly neutral causes this)

Already a minor wrinkle, Russian northern flank exposed early but France may survive the spring?!? All available Wallied units seem to be assembled at the German border.

Dug in French troops routed and France falls in the spring (40), but not without German casualties. Japan deploys armor unit slated for chinese conflict and continues to attack China with Air units.

Summer 40' sees the Duce' pout over Finlands preferential treatment and remain neutral...lol, we see two longshots in our opening moves with Finland and Italy, Spain joining my axis would be the trifecta ! (crosses fingers) [;)]

Hey Timmeh don't push too hard on Forwarn[:-], you were an excellent WAW player[&o], and you were on the Beta tester team[:)]. Anyway I'm pretty sure Forwarn is also a good player, so good luck to both[;)]

Well the Brits apparently averted a Battle of Britain with the Empire's rearmament program. [:D] But the Northern and Southern flanks of the Soviet Union are both exposed to possible further Nazi aggression. [X(]

Early spring 41 brings war to Russia...

Great fun so far, crossing fingers Wallies dont DOW this season... at best guess they are 2 or 3 away. If I've miscalc'd it will spell doom for my axis. Winter 42 and the Germans stall on the steepes.

Roosevelt gets the support he needs for a US DOW in Winter of '42. The British maintain their toehold in Norway - the first territory invaded and retaken from the Axis shortly after the Germans attacked Russia.
US Naval forces are rushed to defend the convoy routes. A handful of troops are spared to reinforce the Dutch East Indies and Singapore in hopes of slowing the Japanese. The Allies are stretched thin on all fronts, but my hope is the Germans are also starting to feel the strain.

as this game is turning out to be a nailbiter for me, I'm going to go with a small AAR for it.
