Problem loading campaigns

I just purchased Panzer Command and cannot load a campaign. I choose campaign, then choose the units and hit start. The loading bar appears briefly and then I am returned to the main menu. I saw something in the forum about an arial font problem, but I deleted the arial fonts and still have this problem.

The same thing happens when I try to load a battle.

Can you please post your DxDiag and log file per the instructions at the top of this forum? I'm sure we can figure out the problem if you post those files for us. Thanks!

Curiously, I solved my problem by turning off my antivirus program. I use Microsoft's OneCare. Why would this work?
