I think I understood what you mean.
Did you mean that they are planned, but won't be available for the initial release? Perhaps later as add ons?
Will there be any capability for people to design their own scenarios?

The 1792 scenario ROCKS! I want it now, now, NOW! [:D]

Barbarossa2:
Yes LOL!
They will be add ons.
We're thinking (ONLY thinking) about scenario editing as an add on as well. I've already got a CRUDE editor for a developer and its dangerous! I would have to seal her up a bit before letting the public use her!
Thank you
Thank you

Dear Marshall,
If you sealed up the editor, there would be a million (or at least five thousand) grateful fans.
I would love to apply the system to the Wars of Spanish Succession. There are all kinds of eras and uses this could be used for.
Please, please, please, consider it.
You will have a hard core following within a hard core following for it. And it will become a game which many fans of many gaming eras can use for their delight!
Of course, it would kick ass to be able to change fortress sizes and national incomes (assuming the latter is possible in the current version of the scenario editor)...but neither is necessary! Not now anyway!
[:)]
Thanks!

Barbarossa2:
I agree that a scenario editor would be great! We're going to look at a lot of requests over the next few months to see what comes to the top of the pile (The squeaky wheel ya know).
There's a lot I want to do but even now Matrix and I are discussing my next project which is another story for a later date...
Thank you

I 2nd Barbarossa's request for a scenario editor. THINK what that would do for the game's replayability value! you'll get high marks from game reviewers for this feature! [8D]

There are many more scenarios:
1) 1740-48: Austrian Sucesion War (very enjoy to play)
2) 1756-1763: Seven Years War
And even:
Spanish Scession War (1701-1715)
Thirty Years War (1618-1648)
French-Prussian War (1870-1871)
The 1) and 2) are the best alternatives, but it's necessary change the map (remember it)
There are another scenario about this era: 1797-1801 Scenario (the raising of Napoleon & the Second Coalition War) Balanced and enjoy
I have every rules to play

Good idea!
Although IMHO the thirty years war is not in the same league with the others.

1792 Scenario is hands-down more enjoyable than 1805. But there are optional rules associated with it... Can they be implemented? Even if they can't just to have the different starting force values and different corps sizes would be fun.
Yes, even without optional rules, being able to edit the OOB of the nations would be wonderful. To be able to edit the map (meaning $/mp values, city spires, fortress fleches, etc.) would be AWESOME!
Scenarios from 1700 to 1816 would all be doable under those circumstances.
Other options include 1788, 1796.

I would be interested in seeing the 1788 scenario from EiH.

I would be interested in seeing the game released <g>
Editor, extra scenarios...whatever - fine for 1.1 but lets get 1.0 out the door before Christmas.

I was told that too by my local gaming friends who played EiA to death. The 1792 Scenario is the best. I hope it will be included sometime.

Anyway you cut it, a scenario editor would add greatly to the game.
One that is flexible, stable, that you can change national incomes, manpower values, provence ownership, and fortification values with.
I, for one, would be willing to pay an additional $50 for a DAMNED good one, with which players could come up with all these permutations and combinations of scenarios and post them somewhere. Because it would turn this one game into MANY. And THAT is why I would pay $50 for it.
Am I alone on this?

First you offer $30 in one thread, now $50. Stop bidding up the price of the scenario editor, Bararossa!!
Certainly, we've already fleshed out a pretty worthwhile Expansion Pack here, with the 1792 scenario, Austrian Succession, 7 years war, and perhaps some others like the 30 years war. PLUS the scenario editor, of course. How about $19.95? [:'(]
