I am sorry, Yea it might be important to know that my question is in reference to Maximum football. (I am now receiving other error messages when I exit out of player creation mode in the Utility set file like Graphics "error 91" object variable or w/ block variable not set" and "Project 1 runtime error "440" automation error)

Where are you getting this error message? In the core game or in the utilities?
Are you sure you're getting this error with the shipped Maximum-Football game and utilities and not a 3rd party application?

I have the same problem as described above. It occurs when using the Utilities to create a new player. When I attempt to save the created player I get "There was a problem verifying player information". This happens regardless of whether I input the player info manually or create a random player.

What build are you using? The game displays the build on the top left corner of the title screen (with the spinning ball logo).

Core 1.0.95
Engine Version 1.0.216
I should add that creating teams and players was pretty much the first thing I tried to do. Should i have done something before i began creating?

The MF Utility gives you that error if you incorrectly put in information in the bio. For example, if you put in 11/1/75 in the age category, it will give you the error. However, if you change the date of birth to an age, you won't get that error. I tried to put in a date of birth instead of age and you get that error.

Thanks, that has overcome the problem. Although I hadn't been entering anything in that box (the RANDOM button fills in that field automatically, entering a date of birth rather than an age).
No matter, problem solved. Much appreciated. [:)]
