And once i clobered KB on 27th December 1941[:D] did you play ageainst the AI??

Ah, well, try doing it against a live human... It is possible against human players, I've done it once and another time had sunk all their combat ships ( BBs, CAs, CLs, DDs etc) in ten days but it is, obviously, infinitely more difficult against a human than the AI. The AI makes horrific errors unbidden while you have to lure your Allied opponents into errors.
