No, this is definately a flawed game. I've been ignored it seems, so far anyway, by Support @Matrix games.com, It doesn't now open and crashed twice on me. Tried all the forum help there is but it hasn't made much difference at all. TWO YEARS WITH A BUG??
How do I get a refund ?
Six other games and I really thought Matrix could be relied on but it appears CotD has become a backwater and it's problems being ignored. Who want's to be fiddling and re setting their computer every time they play a game?? Not I!

SO HOW DO I GET A REFUND?????????????????????

Flannel,

I'm sorry that since your first post on Monday, no one has gotten back to you yet. If you e-mailed support@matrixgames.com, then you should receive a reply shortly. We do sometimes miss messages posted in the forum, unfortunately, so you proceeded correctly in e-mailing us.

As far as the problem itself - can you post a DxDiag file please and also let us know if you've tried it on more than one system? CotD runs fine on the four systems I have at home as well as six more in the office. In addition, the vast majority of customers have not had a problem with it, so we have to find out why it's having a problem in your case and not in others.

Regards,

- Erik
