				 The subject states pretty much indicates my status....

 When I start up the program a new window is created and I get the standard Microsoft error report indicating;
 "information regarding the condition of Starshatter-TheGatheringStorm.exe when the problem occurred;..."

 There is more plus some text file it wants to send to Microsoft.

 What info do I need to send to more accurately diaganose the problem

				 Try reinstalling direct-x. Maybe that will help.

 Also - post your dxdiag results. Refer to this thread if you need help with that:

				 Hi there,

 In the end I discovered that my video card was not DirectX9 compatible. In the end my solution was to upgrade my card.

 Now if I could only get my system to recognize my new card!! But that is a different problem.

				 Hiya Larry,

 It looks to me like you have one of those fine machines with integrated everything. If you are trying to add a new video card, the BIOS is going to be using the onboard graphics chip and ignoring the new card.
 There should be a selection in your BIOS to disable the onboard graphics. After you do that, the system should be able to see the new hardware.

 *WARNING*
 If you are not familiar with changing the BIOS, be very careful.
 Good luck

				 Yes, it was finally narrowed down to the bios or the drivers. My 16-year old nephew finally had the patience to download new drivers from the ATI website to which finally made everything work!!! I am now busy trying to learn the game!!
