Hello,
This game looks great. I downloaded it and ordered the CD. I did all the fighter training missions but whats the secret? I can't seem to kill more than one mine before getting blasted. Although I can go ok one on one with fighters, I try one of the missions to go after a capital ship and get blasted before I get there. Has anyone written a walkthrough or game hints yet? This game is obviously well created.

The best way to take out mines is to use rockets. One volley will be more than enough to take out a mine, just make sure you dont miss. From memory just fly around a bit when they start shooting you, their energy will quickly go down and stop firing, or use your wingman to fly in first and use him as cover; just watch his health.

Make sure to keep your speed up, as well. The guns don't have great aim; spend as much time as possible flying "past" them rather that right at them.

I just cleared Minefield D with one wingman (Flying an Eagle armed with Rockets). Rockets are definitely key.

Or, once you have sufficient rank, take command of a destroyer and use that to take them out, no problem. Then, if you prefer, you can switch back to a fighter.
