I didnt see a forum for this yet, and it looks like it is released? I originally purchased the Battlefront version which I have.

My Question is Will Matrix release a patch that will convert the Battlefront game into a Matrix version with the serial number?

Don't want to hijack the thread, but it's related to this game...
 
I saw it advertised and yet there is no forum for it. Also, it says released, but I can't see it on the Online store.
 
Is this the same as / "similar to" Forge of Freedom?

A slight synchronization glitch there, fixed now. I expect a lot more info to show up very soon on this. As far as I know, we will be releasing an update for those who purchased a previous version from Battlefront.com which will remove their copy protection. More info to confirm that should be available shortly.

The game was to be released yesterday, but we ran into an unexpected problem and we had to delay it. The issue was that some modified files were saved in a bmp version that the game could not read on some computers. It is all fixed now and it looks like the release will happen later today.

There will be a patch for our existing customers, but unfortunately that is not yet ready. We are planning to release it sometime during next week - if all goes well. In exchange for the BFC license key, people will get a Matrix serial number. This patch will be a quite big download this time.

Thanks so much for releaseing the patch to remove the battlefront stuff, I think that is excellent shows your ongoing support to users who bought the game earlier.
 
 
I await your patch to get me to Matrix level [:D]

Will we receive a full Matrix download for our key or just a patch. If its just a patch, we will still have to install our Elicense infested copy and then patch with a Matrix patch every time we reinstall the game.

I brought the game from Battlefront months before, I love it but hate the eLicence system and refuse to buy games with this kind of protection anymore. Good to hear Matrix acquire it and remove the eLicence protection.

Yes we are working on this as we speak. God willing we should have it in place to go on Thurday. We plan to give you a full new Matrix Games version to download and install of For Liberty!.

That's currently a beta patch, so if you are fine with betas, you can get it in this thread:

Once it's official, it will be easy to find in the Latest Downloads under our Games section on this website.

Now I have a CTD where the game justs restarts the computer. I have a 7950gtx card where SLI cannot be disabled. I wish Hussar can fix this problem.
