This game looks like a must have for me. I downloaded the demo but when I started the game the map was just a series of vertical lines. Units display fine as does all other aspects but not the main map. Has this been reported before? I would like to buy the game but cannot purchase it at this point due to the display problems. I am running it on a notebook but am unsure as to how I can tell what kind of display hardware it uses.

This problem is reported on some older video cards.

Is there a demo for this game? Where can I get it?

I found mine on the web at gamespot or somefink. Try a search fot For Liberty! Demo. It is a battlefront version I believe
