Saved league game stats problem

I have noticed in league games that I save and reload to finish that the statistics are off (usually very high numbers for a particular stat) for teams who have been involved in saved games and those teams stats display differently in the league statistics screen. They use 2 number places for single digit values so a 0 will display as 00 and a 4 as 04 etc. Teams not involved in any saved games display normally with single digits without the leading 0.
Anyone else noticing this? A big problem for me as I rarely have the time to play out a whole game in one sitting.

Yeah, I've seen something similar. Hadn't made the connection between saved & non-saved games though.
Also noticed that kick return TDs are recorded as double the amount actually scored (i.e. a player returnung a punt for a TD is shown as having 2 TDs in the league stats).
Also, noticed that some stats are very high for some players in certain categories.
There've been a few discussions in this area & I seem to remember that some changes are being made for the next release, but David would have to confirm this.

This is funny, I think I just set the all-time football game record for kick returns yards by one player in my Canadian league. According to his one game stats, Bashir Levingston (Toronto) had 12 punt returns for 801 yards (66.8 yard average) and 6 touchdowns. Poor Montreal didn't stand a chance. I have to admit, I was playing with fatigue off and I may have increased his agility and speed ratings, but these stats were doubled (he did run 3 back), as stated by Fredirat.

marcntx,
That was a bug I had seen in the previous release. A kick returned for a TD was doubled in the rushing stats. I've had one or two returned for TD's in R3 so far and haven't come across the same problem myself. You are playing R3, right?

Any kick return yards should be in their own categories now. What returns are being added to rushing yards?
Is there a specific way to make this happen?

Just wanted to add that there is definitely an issue with the displayed stats for saved games. Last night I had to exit a game because the players on the field were all stuck just running in place. I was able to save the game, reload it, and complete the game. In the stat displays, the 2 QBs now have over 2000 passing yards and 30 TDs... clearly this incorrect as it is only week 2 in my season. The gamelog that was created for this particular game is correct, but the displays within the game are off. This is the only game I've saved and the only one that has players with weird stats.

See my other important post. Do not forget game is customizable. Keep stats as you wish.

Hi.
Can you please try resending that.. for some reason, it hasn't shown up in my email box.
support@wintervalley.com
Please make the subject 'Maximum-Football Saved Game File' or something obvious. It's possible my spam tools grabbed the last one you sent.
Thanks
David

I figured it out. I zipped it up using winrar and your email kicked back a notice saying that you do not accept .rar attachments. You should have the .zip now.

Hi.
I was unable to use this league file because I do not have the league that matches it. So I tried recreating the problem as best I could.
- Reset a league to start from scratch.
- Played a league 3D game.
- Saved the game in the 4th quarter with about 2 minutes left.
- Exited the game to windows.
- Started the game again, and from the title screen, selected Load Saved Game.
- I selected the game and let the scene load.
- The game picked up where it left off.
- The game finished, and the stats were saved.
- Looking at the stats screen, no stats seemed out of place.
So I'm thinking either I've fixed this already (I've fixed a number of bugs with stats over the past couple of weeks), or I am not looking in the correct place.
Where are you seeing these odd stats displayed? Is it in the post game summary? The league stats pages? Individual stats pages?
Any other information you may have would be helpful.
On an aside, the original reason for you saving the game were players running in place. What happened up to the point where they started running in place?
Thanks

The problem was with the individual stat pages. Keep in mind this was only the second week of the season but the individual stat pages showed a very high sack yardage totals for the QBs in this one game, rushing yardage was also extremely high for the RBs. The gamelogs generated do appear to be correct, but the totals that were recorded in the database were off. It was just with this one game, which was the only one I saved and later resumed. If you think you may have already fixed this, then that's great. Maybe some of the testers could try it just to verify that the problem no longer exists.
As for the players running in place, it was after a touchdown. The players were standing in a group in the endzone, and the ball-carrier got stuck against them and continued running in place until I hit escape, then saved & resumed the game to completion.
I have reset my league so I no longer have the league as it looked when the problem occurred.

So was it the individual stats page in the post game summary (the screen that is displayed at the end of quarters) or the individual stats page on the main league screens (when you navigate to league stats and pick the different stat categories)?

It was the individual stat pages on the main league screens.
