Had a bit while playing email tag, so I move the b5 mod to ss2, it works right out of the "box", of course there are no special effects or anything.

I'm thinking I might update this mod for starshatter 2, and replace a lot of the models in my spare time, nice to model spaceships every now and then!

I was always impressed by the sheer number of such high quality models in one mod... and all modeled and textured by yourself?

I always refered to the new starshatter as ss2 for some reason lol.
 
I'm just waiting to hear back from milo had problems trying to un-dat my old dat files, I need a dat decompressor or something, the new dat file reader he has wont open my old ones.
 
I still plan to do this, and I got another guy who wants in, is trying to learn texturing and break into the racket lol.

Well i somehow found your mod in some unrelated website but aperently it is your mod...well anyways i tried to play the mod but for some reason the missions dont work very well..for example one of the missions where i have to escort the narn cruiser to the JG, there were supposed to be 2 Centuri Vorchans i think..that will appear..but they never appeared. another mission wast from minbari vs earth war...where its a group of hyperions and starfurys vs the minbar tanishi and its fighters. as soon as i ordered one of the fighters to engage them i just suddenly crash to desktop. By anychance ..do you have a website where i can actualy download the mod..just to make sure its a good working one..cuase the one i have...was from this site   http://www.b5sc.com/b5_sfc2.htm

Nevermind,just found this and am wondering if there is any update? Probably not or he'd of posted it,but i'm interested so i'm asking anyway. [8D]

The image in the screenshot above looks awfully dark to me,is that the intended lighting?

DamoclesX, yours was always one of the BEST mods created for Starshtter. Great work. I know it took a LOT of time and effort.

i'm downloading the B5 Mod now and intend to purchase GS abit later this evening.But i'll probably be out of luck being able to play it.

Are you still thinking of updating this Mod?

I downloaded this mod and tried it, and I must say I am impressed!!!!!!!!! WOW [&o] I mean...STUNNED!!!![:D]
 
 
How about someone designing te cockpit as well? And perhaps change the pilot image from the starfury. (I got a textured model of a B5 pilot which can be used, i.e. render it against a full 3d cockpit and have a very nice image - not that the one existing isnt any good).
 
Also I think B5 mod should be more developed. I mean there are lots of fans of the series, and everyone would love one. [8D]

I agree,there is alot you can do with B5! And i'd like to see more of it,along with upgrading to Starshatter GS.

I do love starfuries,it must be the design.

This is the latest version correct? I'm still going through the campaigns that came with SSGS so I'll be patient. Not to mention that the current BSG Mod looks to be shapingup fine.

I love variety mate . Anyways I'll be patient. In my experience patience rewards (e.g. HW B5 Mod. was there too )

I tried checking out this page and had some issues...for some reason it didnt want to display correctly...

It could be the latest, but I dont believe it is the one DamoX began this discussion on. His mod is of the HTL vintage and is over 650mb in size when all the mods are together. Each race has it's own mod, i.e. Earth Force mod is around 160mb, Narn is around 130mb...others vary in size, total number all together is something like 13 mods in the HTL package.

If and when he does release an updated version of his mod then I can say with all confidence...

I have the complete HTL package and would be willing to pass it along if somebody knows a place it could be sent or pickup from.

we could use any p2p software?

If you pass it to a couple of ppl then each can pass it on to others like a reversed tree formula [:D]

Edit#1: Ok I just saw the DamX's B5 HtL mod screenies, so I must revise my review.The mod in www.b5scmod.com is entirely different from the HtL, i think. The latest is a whole lot more detailed and seems to have a variety of starfuries. You can check out here yourselves:

no, this mod does not have the Omega as part of the EA fleet, I believe it was prior to the commissioning of the Omega class...

I will try uploading the mod to that location later today...not in front of my personal computer right now.
