Interdict and readiness losses

Hi there.
I have a question.

In the manual one can read, that interdict attacks make readiness of defending units lower. But what if there would be no losses (air defence was too strong). Is there readiness decreased or not?

If you see a message, while interdicting, like "4 bombers attacked, 0 tons of bombs dropped, 0 squads killed ... " (etc) then there is a readiness loss.

If you see no such message, i.e. all bombers aborted or shot down, then there is no readiness lost.

If you interdict with fighter/bombers only then the chances are that they will get through, and there will be a readiness hit, but 0 kills. Doing this regularly is gamesmanship.
