I just finished the DL and ran a quick turn or two. No problems for me using Win98. I was getting nervous reading about the problems, but everything went smooth.

September has been a very good month for wargaming in my household... I just got a copy of Matrix's WIR 2.0 and SPWAW 4.0... Now, my all time favorite Pac War hits the streets with a fresh coat of paint and some cool updates... So little time, so much gaming to do!

Matrix Games and everyone involved with the company deserve a big HUA! Breathing life into classic wargames at no cost. Now what red blooded wargamer wouldn't love that.

I too just downloaded it and it seems nice.
The new icons are so sexy! All the extra
Allied LCU's make it a bit easier for the
allied player to cover all the bases
without needing to split units like mad.
I'm sure I can still rampage across the
Pacific with the Japanese though...
