Look For Pass Command

what's the most effective way of using this command. right at the turning point in a route or somewhere in the middle of it. as in a curl. would the "look for pass" command work best at the turn pt for the curl or at the final command pt with "stand"?

i'm just thinking that if you want the QB to hit a receiver going cross field it might work best in the middle of their horizontal path.

i ask this because the QB seems to throw the ball right at the "look for pass" point. although, it could be my passing timing.

any thoughts. maybe this would be a good question for the game maker.

thanks. hack

I havent seen QBs throwing to the point where a R has the look for pass logic.  I think the biggest thing to keep in mind is that the QB will not throw to a R  until they actually have the "look for pass" logic, if the QB starts his read progression and the 1st R in his read is not looking for the ball he will probably look to the next read in his progression.  I usually give the R the look for pass logic at the point where he is making a break on his route, so if I have the R going downfield 8 yards and then planting and going to the sideline I will give him the look for logic at the point where he is turning from going downfield to going to the sideline.
