Leader glitches

Love the new version-sinking my teeth into my first campaign game...As the allies of course. Some of the same old leader glitches from my old 386 days still exsist though and I was wondering if there is a patch for them. (or will there be)

A)Clicking on certain leaders at the beginning of the game will make them dissapear (Wavell-new leader, Chennault and Brett-click on new leader and they vanish-Helfrich also in new version, I'm afraid to move Peirce)

B)Losing 5pp just for checking your options for a New Leader (1 for air leader).

C) Where did Heath, Sharp and Bennett go?-They are my cannon fodder (somone has to march into the camps while whistling)!-new glitch

D) The lack of quality US army commanders until late. Eichelberger and Kruger where capable of leading corps size units in 1942.

E) No leader casualty menu in UTIL. The only way to know if one drops (or gets promoted) is to glue your eyes to the screen during execution.

F) No "find leader" option, along with the computer assigning leaders to routine transport or cargo TF. This can be a pain.

There are others that I can't remember right now. I want to point out that these are minor difficulties in a GREAT title. Any feed back on these problems would be appreciated.

Wavell will reappear in a few turns after being replaced.

As you said, those Generals were fodder generals, killed off usualy by January 1942. I decided that longer lasting commanders would benefit the allies (some more and different Australian and British Commanders).

No sense in 'wasting' commander spaces with leaders who have such a weak strength, and die really early. Better to have commanders who stick around longer!

The leader lists and such would be a fringe benefit, as, you stated. It would require some coding for this to occur, and we feel that time is better spent fixing and enhancing actual gameplay. This should be included in the War in the Pacific game though.

Yes much better leaders for Commonwealth thanks a lot for Louie I don't remember him from first Pac War but he sure comes in handy in this one. And Alex too!

In the '42 campaign, Gen. Wainwright is listed under SW Pacific HQ as being on Bataan, even though Bataan has already fallen. You can move him around, too.
