I have the music disabled but when I load my saved game, it starts with music.

When I go into the options, the music option is disabled....so I click on it to enable it and then have to click on it again to disable it before the music will stop. [:D]

I know it's only a wee issue, but an issue none-the-less....and I HATE music in games.

How do you feel about the movie, footloose?[:D]

Funny you should mention that...one of my favs....I'm just not sure music belongs in games past the intro stage...and over the years, I've not heard music in a game that's changed my mind. Most of the time, after the first play it's irritating...I have no games with "in game" music enabled.

I'm not saying it shouldn't exist....a lot of people like music in games...I'd just like the option to turn it off and for that option to work. [:D]

I love the music......

I have two little kids and they hate it.......so they leave the room when I am playing because I turn it up really loud!

When you load your save game let the song you hear end - when it does you will not here the music again. I , like you , hate music with my games and I stumbled on this when I had a little self control on one load up and let the music continue. So I suppose the music is truly off just not directly after load up.

Yes, turning off the music still keeps the loading music.  You can change the name of the music directory to nomusic (or any word other than "music") to quash all music, including the loading music.

It's more than just the loading music though, it continues to play in the maingame as well until you click the option again.

What continues to play?  The opening music or other music?

My mistake, I was confused because the opening music doesn't actually shut off until after you start moving something.
