This recommended controller does not seem to be available as a new product anymore.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a NEW game controller that works well with M-F?

Hi.
I know some people are using an Xbox360 controller and find it is working pretty well.

I'm using a Logitech Dual Action, which is pretty much a clone in it's design of a PlayStation2 controller, and it works just fine.

I picked up a 360 controller today to perform some testing. It works well. If you don't mind the blinking 360HUD button in the centre of the controller.

I was wondering about the Xbox controllers. I have an original (not 360) Xbox controller. When playing in arcade mode, I can make play selections fine but whenever I try to control someone on the field (always on the opening kickoff), I get a "Subscript out of range in procedure clsPlayer.ProcessPlayLogicArcade. Press F9 to attempt to continue." I am always then forced to quit the program. This does not happen when I playing with a controller in coaching mode. Any help? Thanks.

I didn't think you could use the original xbox controllers on a PC. They're not USB so I don't know how that would work.
The USB controller for the 360 works pretty well.

Thanks, David. For both answers. I had bought an adapter that converts the Xbox controller to USB. It had worked great on other games, but I was getting that error in MF.
