PDS is clunky

It bothers me that every time I want to test a play I've made, I need to select a team, a controller, a mode, and a defensive play. After that I need to wait for the teams and graphics to load. A better idea, IMO, is to allow the user to select these options when the PDS starts. The user could select a global settings for controller, mode, and team that would be used for every play. This would decrease practice load time, and it would be simpler to use. Obviously the user could still select the defense to be used each time he tests a play. I just think the current system is unnecessarily clunky.

Also, is there a reason why the target location for a timed pass cannot be behind the LOS? When I set it there, the QB just throws downfield.

Hi.

Based on your description, it sounds like you're using PDS1.

I realize it's still BETA, but I think you would find PDS2.0 in the latest release more to your liking. It does the set up once just as you mention, it's also full 3D so no more going back and forth between 'the game' and a Windows app.

Thanks
David

In response to your complaint about passing behind the LOS, please see this thread: tm.asp?m=1296197

It contains the fix to your problem.

Oh ok, sounds good. Is there a place I can download it, or is it still being tested?
